IRCA's first CPD event in China
IRCA held its first CPD event on the 9th September in Beijing, run in conjunction with Shanghai NQA.
The programme included seminars led by a range of Chinese and international speakers. The event explored challenges to auditors from established standards, such as ISO 9001 as well as challenges from new standards, such as the new ISO 22000 food safety specification published recently. You can download the presentation materials below:
- ISO 9001 – the process approach to auditing, Colin Partington (NQA)
- ISO 14001 – implications for organizations and auditors, Guo Peng (China Certification Training Centre)
- ISO 22000 – food safety in the food chain, Ian Dunlop (IRCA)
The feedback received after the event was very positive. IRCA’s Business & Training Manager said: “I’m very pleased with this event which provided a great opportunity for Chinese auditors to gain valuable input from international experts, to share experience and good practice, as well as to meet and discuss issues with IRCA.”
Given the success of this event, IRCA is looking forward to more events in China in future.
