Who’s registered?

The world’s largest global listing of suppliers certified to ISO 9000 and ISO 14001, created by QSU Publishing, has gone live.

This free internet-based search engine, which can be found at www.whosregistered.com, features the entire worldwide database of some 50,000 certificates issued by British Standards Institution (BSI). It also holds another 80,000 listings from other certification bodies and is receiving additional listings daily for an overall total of 130,233 listings.

Users of the global website will be able to find the names of certified companies, their geographic location, scope of certification and standard (including sector-specific requirements like ISO/TS 16949, AS 9100 and TL 9000), certification body, certificate number, accrediting organization and expiration dates.

A section of the site has been reserved as the official site of the worldwide sanctioned QS 9000 database of the QS 9000 Supplier Quality Requirements Task Force (SQRTF) which represents DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company and General Motors. This online database includes data on automotive suppliers that have attained third party certification in accordance with QS 9000, a supplier quality requirement developed by the SQRTF. ‘As in the case of many industries, much of the automotive industry is also facing a requirement to verify conformance of suppliers to ISO 9000,’ says Paul Scicchitano of QSU Publishing. ‘This new database will provide an important vehicle to meet this need the world over.’
